  • Helping a “Catfishing” Victim When the Bank Wouldn’t

    We had a member whose primary financial was a bank. Recently, this member was “catfished” and scammed out of thousands of dollars.

  • Making a Difference Trivia Night

    The RCU Foundation’s Making a Difference (M.A.D) Trivia night in New Richmond sold out for the second year in row and raised $5,000 for St. Croix Valley Habitat for Humanity.

  • The Royal Credit Union Foundation

    Every time a Member uses their debit card, Royal donates up to $0.05 to the Royal Credit Union Foundation. Since the Foundation began in 2012, it has donated over $8 million to support capital projects in the arts, education, and health.

  • Community Give Back Day

    Royal hosted its third Community Give Back Day event allowing team members the opportunity to volunteer at 80 nonprofit organizations across Wisconsin and Minnesota.

    A Member came in asking for a signature loan for a small amount. When the Member Account Representative ran her information, they noticed she had recently taken out some high interest payday loans.

    A Member came in to cash a check from a non-traditional lender.
