The Voice Case Information System (VCIS) offers toll-free phone numbers for obtaining bankruptcy case information. Call VCIS, then enter the debtor’s name, social security number, or bankruptcy case number. VCIS gives detailed information on bankruptcy cases including the debtor’s attorney information and current case status. The information on VCIS is sometimes more current than information on the PACER system.
