NEWS: The Wisconsin Elder Justice Coalition is conducting a needs assessment to identify education and training opportunities that it can provide for free to help support older adults and providers, enhance collaboration, and coordinate resources throughout the state.
The coalition is asking Wisconsin credit unions to complete a five-minute Financial Institution Survey. Your responses will help the coalition tailor education and training resources that can help credit union staff identify elder abuse and respond appropriately.
The Wisconsin Elder Justice Coalition collaborates with leading state agencies, statewide organizations (like The League) and non-governmental agencies to bridge gaps in coordinating needed services, to raise public awareness, and to advocate for elder justice in Wisconsin. As part of the coalition, The League works alongside various law enforcement agencies, social services offices, and other stakeholders, to combat elder abuse statewide.
