This release applies to all credit unions, both state and federal. It describes the federal Loan Originator Rule – a set of requirements under the Truth in Lending act rules, Reg. Z, that (among other things) 1) address compensation paid to loan originators, 2) impose qualification duties on loan originators, and 3) require that certain identification information about a loan originator appears on certain loan documents.
