This release addresses issues relating to use of the WCUL’s credit union Application for Employment (#81110 Rev. 5/15). Much of the guidance in this release may be of use to credit unions using other employment applications as well.
This release does not address all employment application issues under state and federal employment laws. It does include detailed guidance on Fair Credit Reporting Act requirements when a credit union is obtaining a credit report on an employee or applicant.
