To use the checklist, always start with the “General” section, then move on to whichever other broad category may apply: Leasing, Accounts, Lending or Nondeposit Investment Products. The “General” section lists issues which may affect advertising regardless of what the product is. For example, the misleading advertising rules in the “General” section apply to all credit union products.
